2 more LAYOUTS!!!

Another Fantastic Layout by Charlotte. YAY.  I actually had pictures to bring to add to one set of my pages.  WITCHY POOO PRINCESS...  Now I have to dress up the other dogs and take their picture so I can add them to these pages toooo.

Layouts From Scrapbook Expo 8-19-2011

OMG~ I can't believe I never posted my layouts I did at the scrapbook expo.  GEESH!  what is wrong with me.  I LUV them.  I even put pictures on them.  Check them out.  I still have to add titles and wording / blurb/ poem and a couple more pics on the Water one.  Had fun with these.

My NEW FLOOR!! whoo hoo.

We removed the parquet flooring piece by piece with a hammer and pry-bar.  Took a long time to remove but to get a new and better floor it was well worth it.  YAY.  So excited.  Sept 24, 2011. 

Old Parquet flooring.  Soft wood can't use water on it or do anything because it marks up really bad.

Another Fantastic Technique at a cardmaking class

We have done another fantastic technique using Window mini blinds and alcohol inks from Tim Holtz.  Can you believe that the card with the trees has mini blinds on it?  The trees are cut out of mini blinds and the sign is from a mini blind.  Also the books markers of course are made from mini blinds.  The leaf is cut out of a dollar store cutting mat.  We then inked it and stamped them.  How awesome.  Just look.

Here are the bookmarks and tags.  They came out so cute.  We used the alcohol inks in a pen to write.

This wolf card was stamped and then we used 50% water and 50% bleach in a water pen and where the lighter colors are is where we used the pen.  So cute.  Gotta make more of these.  Luv them.

COLORING!!! I am addicted to coloring in front of TV!!!!!

 

Oh I am having so much fun experimenting with my colored pencils.  Shading adding more than one color and so on.  AWESOME...  I will take any tips anyone has to give.

Charlotte did a wonderful job picking out the color for these pages.  AWESOME.  can't wait for the next class.  Halloween is next yay.

MY NEW WHEELS. Oh How I luv this vehicle. Best thing made.

I bought this Polaris Ranger AKA "Range Woofer" (as my friend helped me name it LOL thanks Denice!!) and everytime I try to tell someone they think I got a truck or something.  NO WAY.  I got a bush vehicle, doggy vehicle,  Butt saver vehicle  best ever.  I even like to drive it.  We took it for our first drive and with Our precious being so scared we tied her down so she won't jump.  The other two were okay, at least we thought.  Got past the swedetown pond (of course where birds and water is and having a bird/water dogs - you get the picture).  We have a jumper.  Miss Princess jumped out while we were driving (that is not safe princess you can't do that) and looked behind and she was trying to figure out which pond to jump into.  UGH! stopped the vehicle and called her back.  GEESH!!!.  So she got tied down.   Other than that it was a fun ride.  Funny though we let them swim at another pond and on the way back with the dusty trails they all needed baths.  LOL.   Oh well it is fun.  We all had a blast.

Birthday Card for my Beautiful Mother. !! LUV YOU MOM..

Here is a Birthday Card I made especially with my mother in mind for her birthday.  She luvs the dream-catcher.  YAY.  And she luvs turquoise.  But it came out more blue.  Need more colored pencils.  Darn it.  Oh well.  Maybe for xmas I will get the huge big giant prismacolor premier colored pencils from my huny has 132 colors.  Anyways I luv coloring with my pencils.  YAY.

MY NEW FENCE!!!! Yippeeee

Well, Since we didn't buy the house next door we decided to put up a privacy fence on the side and on the back.  But this year could only afford the side.  Next year I will put it on the back.  OH BOY.  what fun.  The dogs just don't know what to think of it since they use to bang into the fence to see the neighbors dogs.  GEESH!.  LOL.  Oh well.  Here is the fence.

I had this fence up since Jordan was 2 years old.  So 18 years ago this fence was put up.

Clothspin Bag

OH! OH! I just finished this clothespin bag.  I just luv making these clothespins bags and attaching them to either old or current wooden hangers.  They are so fun and great to create.  I luv picking out the colors to match the person I make them for.   Picking out the material and trying to imagine it all together is tricky.  So it is still a surprise to me how it will turn out until I get it all together and I really luv this one.

GOODELL OIL Genealogy Poster for business

Goodell Oil Company was started by my great grandfather Horatio Stuart Goodell.  He started the business because the miners needed oil for their lamps.  It grew into a big business.  Today the oil business is not like it use to be so the Goodell Oil Company is no longer.  BUT my brother Donald is opening his own auto business as he is so good with his hands and mind with Autos, boats and other moving vehicles.  Because I am so into our genealogy I put together this history of the Goodell businesses ending with Donalds Business card that I created.  I am so proud of my brother.  MORE to come on the business.  YAY.  Anyways here is the poster. Luv you Donald.

Pages Without Pictures

 As always these classes are so much fun.  I go and angle my photo spots all the time.  I don't like everything straight all the time.  I like it to be different.  This is the left side of the book and below is the right side of the book.  Now to decide what pictures to put on these pages.  Hmmmm.  Oh well.

I think the hardest thing about doing this type of class is you plan the page but now I have to figure out what pictures to use.  Again I unstraightened my photo spots.  They came out kind of neat I think. This is the left side of the book and below is the right side of the book.

Polished Stone Class

This class was so cool.  we used ink and inked up glossy cardstock.  When it is dry then you stamp your image and decorate.  Besides the ink we used Galaxy gold, copper and silver.  That gave it a cool look.  See images.

MY Favorite one.  Luv the floss we added.  This was made with 3 color inks and Galaxy gold.  Isn't he just majestic...

Perfect Pearls Class

This class was so much fun.  I finally learned how to use my perfect pearls.  This one we put pearl perfect pearls into a dollar store watercolor paint palette added water and painted our stamped images.  SOOO COOL.

This card we used versamark to stamp our image then we inked the page up with purple and blue.  Look how the stamp resisted the ink.  This was done on glossy paper.

This Card with the Moose we stamped our images and then added the perfect pearls and then brushed off the excess.  The copper color was soo cool.  on the moose part we put perfect pearls in a little bit of water brushed it on heated it to dry it quickly then stamped the moose.  The Moose is stamped with ink.

I also have a lighthouse card that I forgot to take pictures of and it was stamped and then we used perfect pearls and brushed the excess off.  Quick and easy and beautiful.  Will add the picture once I take it.  LUV IT.

Faux Leather and Cork tags Cards

Here are some cards using liquid applicator, many inks which made it look and feel like faux suede leather.  The liquid applicator you squeeze a little out on wax paper, use the brayer and brayer your paper once only.  Use the heater to dry the paper.  Then you start with lighter inks and work you way to the darker inks (it was a yellow, orange, amber, and two other browns).  Then you stamp your image on the paper after it is all dried.  If feels like suede.  So Cool.

The other card we used cork tags.  We stamped tag stamps and the letters or sayings and cut them out and they already had adhesive on the back.  I LUV THESE.  I gave Joe my cork tag card.  LOL.
